Battle of Nahawand (21 AH)

The Persian’s combined their forces (120,000 men) and launched a counter-attack in Nahwand. Sa’d b. Abi Waqqas RA led the Muslims and defeated the imperial army. The Sassanids never recovered and battle marked their end. #Persia war
