Abu Bakr Siddiq RA thwarts eminent attacks against Madinah whilst the Army of Usamah RA is away. In one engagement he kills the rebel leader Hibal (the brother of Tulayha) and chases them to Zul Qassah. When Usamah RA he commands him and his army to rest. Then Abu Bakr Siddiq RA personally leads a strike against the rebels closeby Madinah at Abraq. The Madinah border is secured and news of the victory spreads.
