Hudayfah b. Mihsan Himyari RA is charged with dealing with the rebellion in Oman. He is assisted by generals Arfjah Bariqi RA and Ikrama RA with their respective forces. There is a heavy fight in Daba where the rebel leader Laqit b. Malid was killed. They are victorious. Huzayfah RA remained in Oman to administer it. Arafajah RA returned to Madinah with the booty.
